Always Here
Yesterday
I took out all of your love letters
And I read them again one by one
Gathered up all of our pictures
And recalled everything
We'd ever done
I smelled the dried rose
That I keep in my bible
Just to see if its scent was still there
And I handled it oh so gently
As coming from you it was so rare
I walked for awhile
Through all of these memories
And smiled as I recalled each part
Yes, I know
That you are no longer here with me
But you will always be
Here in my heart

Beautiful words describing coming to terms with unspeakable loss--
Very moving ; Thank you Neva
Beautiful Neva. Such nice memories of love.
Loving and touching words.
Simply beautiful, Neva
Touching words speaking of healing and love. God bless you.
Those are some beautiful words.
Here is one that I used when my mother passed on.
God looked around His Garden. And He found an empty place. He then looked down upon the earth, and saw your weary face. He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering He knew you were in pain. He knew that you would never get well on earth again.
He saw that the road was getting rough, and the hills were hard to climb. So He closed your weary eyelids, and whispered "Peace be Thine." It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone for part of us went with you The day God called you home. Anonymous
Keep up the good work
